Influenced by the richness and the sensibility of African and Japanese traditional techniques, Carme Balada works with ceramics creating her own unique contemporary style in her workshop situated right in the heart of Ciutat vella (old city) of Barcelona.
Carme keeps travelling around the world searching for new techniques, sources of inspiration and new materials to incorporate and enhance her own style.
